Soul City Cafe Finalist. Made it to the finals of Jewel's Soul City Cafe Contest promoting Indie Artists. Appeared in US Magazine and performed with JEWEL at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA. (2004)
National Geographic. "In & Around" was chosen as the theme song for National Geographic's "Go Green" campaign, targeting college students in raising awareness of Global Warming. Katie was flown out to Washington DC to perform for this cause (2008)
Singer Magazine. Katie was a featured artist as part of their "artists to look out for" (2003)
Meijer. Bought 2000 "Make Some Time For Wasting" albums to distribute throughout all Meijer stores as part of their monthly independent artist feature.
Music Placement 2008. Katie's track "Leave" will appear in a Movie called "Chasing The Green" starring Jeremy London. Katie's track "In & Around" will appear in a forthcoming Sundance film called "Other Peoples Parties."
